Beneficial Stay Program™

Your Home Matters. Let's Explore What May Be Possible.

The Beneficial Stay Program is designed for homeowners experiencing mortgage hardship who want to explore potential pathways for remaining in their home.

Beneficial Housing Solutions helps organize your situation and uses its platform to identify participating investors and appropriate service partners whose criteria may align with your circumstances.

Step by step

How the Beneficial Stay Program works

1

Tell Us What's Happening

Complete the Homeowner Assessment. Tell us about the home, the mortgage, the hardship, your current payment, the outcome you want, and the monthly housing payment you believe you can reliably maintain. The amount you enter is your stated affordability preference — it is not approval, and it is not a guarantee that those exact terms will be available.

2

We Evaluate Potential Pathways

The platform organizes your information and evaluates potential program pathways and compatibility criteria.

3

We Look for Compatible Participating Investors

The system evaluates participating investors whose stated criteria may align with your circumstances. Matching is automated, based on the homeowner profile and investor Buy Box preferences.

4

Review Potential Options

Where a compatible investor and a legally viable transaction pathway exist, you may be presented with additional information, potential terms, or next steps. A Potential Investor Match is informational — it is not an offer.

5

Complete the Appropriate Transaction Process

Any mortgage acquisition, payoff, financing, modification, servicing, closing, insurance, legal, title, or other regulated activity must be completed through the appropriate authorized or licensed parties where required.

6

Move Forward

If a compliant Stay solution is successfully completed, you proceed under the finalized transaction terms. Not every homeowner will be able to remain in their home, and we will not tell you otherwise.

Plain language

What Could a Stay Solution Look Like?

Depending on your existing mortgage, the property, an investor match, lender or loan-holder participation, applicable law, and other circumstances, a potential solution could involve an investor or participating entity acquiring or funding an eligible mortgage-related transaction and establishing an appropriate new or modified arrangement through authorized providers.

What an eligible transaction may involve

Acquisition, payoff, restructuring, or another appropriate solution, depending on the circumstances and applicable requirements. The objective of the Beneficial Stay Program is to explore whether a sustainable home-retention pathway may exist.

What we will not tell you

We will not tell you an investor will buy your mortgage, and we will not promise that a solution exists for your situation. Nothing on this website is a promise, offer, guarantee, or approval of financing, modification, foreclosure prevention, or any particular outcome. Completing an assessment does not create an obligation for you or for any participating investor.

We encourage every homeowner to stay in contact with their mortgage servicer, and to consider free HUD-approved housing counseling and, where appropriate, licensed legal assistance. Using Beneficial Housing Solutions is not a substitute for those resources.

Affordability

What Can You Reliably Afford?

One of the most important parts of the Homeowner Assessment is understanding what monthly housing payment you believe you can consistently maintain.

Information the assessment may collect

  • • Income
  • • Household expenses
  • • Current mortgage payment
  • • Arrears
  • • Other housing costs
  • • Property taxes
  • • Insurance
  • • HOA obligations
  • • Other relevant financial information

This information helps evaluate potential compatibility.

Important

The number you enter does not automatically become your new payment. It is your own stated estimate of what you could sustain, used to evaluate potential compatibility. Completing the Homeowner Assessment does not constitute approval, eligibility, or acceptance into either program. Based on the information provided, the platform may identify a potential program alignment with your stated goals and circumstances. It does not determine what is legally or financially best for you.

Transparency

Know What You're Agreeing To

Beneficial Housing Solutions believes homeowners should understand the process before making important decisions.

  • What information is being requested, and why.
  • What each agreement means before you sign anything.
  • What happens next, at every stage.
  • Whether something is a Potential Investor Match or an actual Investor Offer — they are not the same thing.
  • Who is involved in a transaction.
  • When a licensed or authorized third party is performing a regulated service.
  • Exactly what you are signing.
